Laser welding method of copper alloy plate material, and copper alloy terminal formed using the same



【課題】レーザ溶接性の優れた、端子用銅合金のレーザ溶接方法を提供する。また、該レーザ溶接を用いて管状かしめ部を有する端子を提供する。 【解決手段】銅合金板材を打ち抜いて曲げ加工することにより成形された管状かしめ部30のレーザ溶接方法であって、前記管状かしめ部30の長手方向に設けた被溶接部にわたって、500〜550nmの範囲の波長を有するレーザビームFL1と1030〜1100nmの範囲の波長を有するレーザビームFL2とを同時に照射して溶接することを特徴とする銅合金端子のレーザ溶接方法。また、該レーザ溶接方法を用いてレーザ溶接を施し、管状かしめ部を成型したことを特徴とする、銅合金端子。 【選択図】図3
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding method of copper alloy for a terminal which is excellent in laser weldability, and also provide a terminal having a tubular caulked portion by using the laser welding.SOLUTION: A laser welding method for a copper alloy terminal is intended for a tubular caulked portion 30 that is formed by punching a copper alloy plate material, followed by bending. The method includes welding by simultaneously irradiating a laser beam FL1 and a laser beam FL2 over a welding object disposed in a longitudinal direction of the tubular caulked portion 30. The laser beam FL1 has a wavelength in the range of 500-550 nm. The laser beam FL2 has a wavelength in the range of 1030-1100 nm. The laser welding is carried out using the laser welding method so as to form the tubular caulked portion.
