Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively take a countermeasure to surging of a supercharger by using an air bypass valve and effectively discharge condensed water of an intercooler by using intake pressure during engine deceleration operation.SOLUTION: In an engine 1 having a supercharger 7 and an EGR device, an inlet 17b of an EGR passage 17 is connected to an exhaust passage 5 downstream of a turbine 9, and an outlet 17a is connected to an intake passage 3 upstream of a compressor 8. An intercooler 13 is provided in the intake passage 3 downstream of the compressor 8, and a water collecting part 13a is provided in the intercooler 13. A drain passage 45 is provided for draining condensed water in the water collecting part 13a to a drainage destination, and a drain valve 46 is provided for opening and closing the passage 45. An air bypass passage 41 is provided between the intake passage 3 downstream of the compressor 8 and the intake passage 3 upstream of the compressor 8, and an air bypass valve 42 is provided for opening and closing the passage 41. During deceleration operation of the engine 1, an electronic control unit 50 opens the drain valve 46 from a valve closed state and then opens the air bypass valve 42 from a valve closed state.
【課題】エアバイパス弁を用いて過給機サージング対策を有効に行うと共に、エンジン減速運転時に吸気圧力を利用してインタークーラの凝縮水を有効に排出すること。 【解決手段】過給機7とEGR装置を備えたエンジン1において、EGR通路17の入口17bはタービン9より下流の排気通路5に、出口17aはコンプレッサ8より上流の吸気通路3に接続される。コンプレッサ8より下流の吸気通路3にインタークーラ13が設けられ、同クーラ13の中に集水部13aが設けられる。集水部13aの凝縮水を排出先へ排出する排水通路45と、同通路45を開閉する排水弁46が設けられる。コンプレッサ8より下流の吸気通路3とコンプレッサ8より上流の吸気通路3との間にエアバイパス通路41が設けられ、同通路41を開閉するエアバイパス弁42が設けられる。電子制御装置50は、エンジン1の減速運転時に、排水弁46を閉弁状態から開弁させ、その後にエアバイパス弁42を閉弁状態から開弁させる。 【選択図】 図1
